CONCLUSION
The very high demand for housing in the first quarter was met with relatively low inventory. This inequity led to some degree of hysteria and sellers enjoyed seeing 10+ offers on offer night.
This summer saw demand decline and the number of homes available for sale increase. This market dynamic resulted in much less activity and fewer bidding wars. As fall approaches, we can expect a rebound to the Q1/2014 market levels.
I certainly don’t recall a busier July and I’m excited about a couple of new listings I’ll be announcing shortly. If you’re planning to be in the market, make sure you come back and visit susanbandler.com!
