Junction Triangle – sounds like peculiar name for a neighbourhood, but with 200 names submitted and 674 votes cast, Junction Triangle was born in 2010. Just recently the area has undergone a serious facelift which has seen the former industrial core replaced with residential lofts and townhomes. Developers were drawn to this west side neighbourhood as it’s surrounded by amenities: High Park, Junction Gardens shopping district and incredible access to the Bloor subway line. First-time home buyers take note, as this area is highly affordable. Narrow tree-line streets are framed by 2 and 3-storey Victorians dating back to 1910-1920s. If cycling is in your veins, the 2.1 km long West Toronto Railpath is conveniently located here. Plenty of parks and community centres are all within walking distance, including The Perth Dupont Public Library which hosts many programs for young children.
