The traffic we deal with in Toronto can be hectic, and in some cases deadly. The idea of getting on a bike for your daily commute to work for some can be daunting to say the least. We should take a closer look at London, U.K and how they’re attempting to solve this issue.
Exterior Architecture is looking to help bikers get above the city with their latest concept: the Skycycle. The plan is to use London’s defunct above ground train lines to create a network of lanes for cyclists to use. The user would access the path with their Oyster card (Like a TTC transit pass), and be able to travel to their destination in the same time it would take the tube. It will be a clear and safe route, not to mention a much healthier option for London’s inhabitants!
