If you have been in any of the condos that are climbing the Toronto skyline lately then you might have noticed that builders are trying to make the most of their air space. What this means is the units are getting smaller, almost broom closet small! OK, that’s a little dramatic but some are only 300 sq ft (and they even have a name for these little guys: micro-condos!) So when this tiny little home in London, England came on the market and was being labelled the smallest house in the world, I had to check it out.
The size of the house isn’t what everyone is making a fuss about, it’s the price. At $443,920, it would seem a reasonable price for this particular neighbourhood, where the starting point tends to be over the million dollar mark. But brace yourself… it’s 188 square feet. Are you still standing? Well that’s good, you will fit right in to this little gem.
