The Mudroom

You may find this odd, but one of my favourite rooms in a family home is the “mud” room. Why? Because it’s the first point of entry for family members and if it’s nicely organized, then it sets the stage for the rest of the house. In other words…”family, this is the way the whole house should look!” O.k, maybe that’s a stretch, but hopefully you’ll be one of the lucky ones to have that beautifully organized and pleasant to look at mud room. With some simple storage solutions and a little discipline, the mud room can be a perfect spot to transition from the chaos outside to the calm indoors.
